Lamine Kone and James McClean continue war of words on Twitter

Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion faced each other in the Premier League at the weekend.

Sunderland defender Lamine Kone and West Bromwich Albion winger James McClean have continued their war of words on social networking site Twitter.

The two players faced each other at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League at the weekend.

The match on Saturday afternoon finished in a goalless draw, as the Black Cats remain in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season and West Brom appear safe from the drop.

After the match, Kone mocked McClean on Twitter, suggesting that the West Brom winger is a nobody.

McClean hit back at the Sunderland centre-back soon after (click here to read more), and the pair have continued their argument.

While the ongoing war of words between Kone and McClean is quite interesting and spicy, perhaps it needs to stop now before it becomes any bigger.

Kone and McClean should just forget about their tussle on Saturday and focus on their respective games this coming weekend.

Sunderland will take on league leaders Leicester City at the Stadium of Light this coming weekend, while West Brom will face Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium.
