Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has suggested that both Derby County and Brighton & Hove Albion are tracking Juan Villar, ahead of the summer transfer window.
Balague has bemoaned the lack of quality in the Spanish second tier, but he believes that Villar is one of the more talented players outside of La Liga.
The winger has been in excellent form throughout the campaign for Real Valladolid this season, and he has become one of their key attacking players.
Villar has scored 13 goals and claimed five assists, despite generally being deployed in a wide-role, rather than as an out and out forward.
His form has reportedly caught the attentions of both Derby and Brighton, who are both tracking the attacker.
Not much talent left in 2nd Division in Spain. But one 2 watch: Juan Villar, 13 goals/5 assists from right wing! Followed by Brighton, Derby— Guillem Balague (@GuillemBalague) April 5, 2016
Derby and Brighton are both competing for promotion from the Championship this season, with the pair currently lodged inside the play off places.
Brighton are currently in third place in the standings, while Derby are in sixth position - meaning that they are on course to meet each other in the play off semi-final, with just seven games remaining in the league season.
