The Rams emerged as comfortable winners against their fellow promotion hopefuls on Tuesday night and it appears as though the positive vibes are back.
Derby County returned to winning form with style on Tuesday night with a convincing 4-0 victory over fellow promotion hopefuls Hull City at Pride Park.
The Rams lost 2-1 at Cardiff City at the weekend in a disappointing first game back after the international break at the 1-0 victory over arch-rivals Nottingham Forest in their last home match.
However, Darren Wassall's side sent out a huge statement of intent against the Tigers by thrashing Steve Bruce's side to reopen a four-point gap over Cardiff in the final play-off spot.
Bradley Johnson struck twice in the first half and, after Moses Odubajo was sent off 10 minutes after half-time, Chris Martin and Craig Bryson added gloss to the scoreline.
The result equalled Derby's heaviest win of the season and has injected life and confidence back into their side and supporters ahead of the run-in to the end of the season.
Fans on Twitter were quick to show their appreciation of the performance, billed by many as the best seen so far this campaign, and there appears to be genuine belief for the first time in several weeks that the club can achieve promotion.
Here is a selection of the reaction from Rams fans.
