Former Tottenham Hotspur attacker David Ginola suggested on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Tuesday morning (broadcast from 6am, April 5) that one more win for Leicester City will decide the Premier League title race.
Leicester are seven points clear at the top of the league table at the moment, with Tottenham Hotspur second and Arsenal third.
The Foxes will take on relegation candidates Sunderland away from home at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, while Tottenham Hotspur will face Manchester United at White Hart Lane that evening.
Arsenal are in action on Saturday afternoon, as they confront London rivals West Ham United away from home at the Boleyn Ground.
Ginola believes that Leicester will wrap up the league title this weekend if they pick up all three points against Sunderland.
“Next game Arsenal are playing at West Ham, Tottenham are (playing against) Manchester United and Leicester are going to play at Sunderland,” said the former France international on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Tuesday morning (broadcast from 6am, April 5). “One victory of Leicester at Sunderland, and I think it’s going to be all over.”
Ginola has also predicted the Premier League top four at the end of the season to remain as it is at the moment.
Leicester, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City currently make up the top four, and the former Newcastle United star expects it to remain so.
“I think it is going to stay as it is,” said the Frenchman on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Tuesday morning (broadcast from 6am, April 5) when asked to predict the Premier League top four.
Leicester and Tottenham appear to have sewn up the top two places, and Arsenal are likely to end up third.
City cannot be too confident of finishing fourth, though, as Manchester United and West Ham United are hot on their heels.
