Tottenham star shares what Klopp told him after Liverpool draw

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur played out a 1-1 draw in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has revealed to Football365.com what Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp told him after the game between the two teams at the weekend.

The match finished in a 1-1 draw, with England international striker Kane scoring the equaliser in the 63rd minute.

The 22-year-old was hugged by Klopp after the full-time whistle, and he has revealed what the German told him during that moment.

“He just said three words - what a strike,” Kane told Football365.com. “If I scored another one, he might not have done that.”

Kane has established himself as one of the best strikers in the Premier League and has been in superb form this season.

The youngster has scored 22 goals and created 40 chances in 32 league matches for Tottenham so far this campaign.

The England international striker has a pass accuracy of 74% and a shot accuracy of 63%, and has won 62 headers, 40 dribbles and 22 tackles.

Tottenham are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 62 points from 32 matches, seven points behind leaders Leicester City.
