Arsenal youngster impressed against Manchester City.
Arsenal fans got a look at Krystian Bielik as the Pole captained the side for the FA Youth Cup semi-final.
With the game broadcast live on ITV4 in the UK, it was a rare chance for many supporters to see the young Guns in action, and see how the talented youngsters match up to the hype often surrounding them.
Arsenal went into the game at The Emirates 2-1 down from the first leg, and despite a valiant effort they were eliminated 4-3 on aggregate after a 2-2 draw on the night.
The under-18 side scored through Chris Willock and substitute Donyell Malen, while Marc Bola was sent off.
One of the more eye catching players on the pitch was Krystian Bielik, who was physically imposing enough to look like he should be playing men's football.
In terms of ability he remains at a raw stage, learning his trade with the Gunners since joining from Legia Warsaw in January 2015, and is yet to make a first team appearance.
The teenager was bought as a defensive midfielder but has been utilised as a centre-back mostly, as was the case last night, and his display saw him lauded with a number of complimentary comparisons.
Here is a look at how Arsenal fans reacted to his display...
In particular, Bielik. Has been a rock at centre-back, can also play at DM too. Kid is tall, strong, quick and loves a tackle.— 1886 (@1886_blog) April 4, 2016
Every time I see Bielik at CB I wonder when are they to scrap this experiment? Surely he's better off at DM using his attributes there.— Formerly Gza (@GoonerManN5) April 4, 2016
