Emenike started the Premier League game for West Ham against Palace at the Boleyn Ground and played for 60 minutes.
The 28-year-old striker, who joined the Hammers on loan from Fenerbahce in the January transfer window, did not have a great game against the Eagles.
During his time on the pitch, the Nigerian failed to take a single shot, had a pass accuracy of 82%, created one chance, and attempted two dribbles.
In seven Premier League appearances for the Hammers so far this campaign, Emenike has failed to score, has created two chances, has a pass accuracy of 68% and a shot accuracy of 25%, and has won six headers, four dribbles and four tackles.
West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on the performance of Emenike against Palace.
Below are some of the best comments:
For the second half we should bring on Tomkins for Emenike and put Antonio on the right wing #COYI— George Poynter (@George_Poynter) April 2, 2016
A good, energetic shift from Emenike despite not doing a whole lot with the ball. Come on, Andy!! #COYI— Dan Springate (@DCSpringate) April 2, 2016
Strongly believe if we get a “20 goal” striker in the summer, both Valencia & Emenike will not be back. Talented but inconsistent. #WHUFC— Stu-Stutterin' Stan (@SSSelekts) April 2, 2016
Emenike not even making an effort to close down Souare there...— West Ham News (@WHUFC_News) April 2, 2016
