Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante was again influential for his side.
Former player Rodney Marsh has taken to social networking site Twitter in order to lavish praise on Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante following his contributions during his side’s 1-0 win over Southampton.
Joining the club as an unknown quantity last summer, Kante has taken everyone by surprise as his energy and hard-work in midfield has been the base for Leicester’s shock title challenge.
With just a handful of fixtures remaining, the Foxes kept their dream alive with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ronald Koeman’s Southampton and few could argue it wasn’t deserved.
Writing on Twitter after the game, Marsh singled out Kante as Leicester’s outstanding performer and labelled him a machine as he once again provided such energy and aggression in midfield.

Kante has struck up a superb midfield partnership alongside Danny Drinkwater, and the duo’s success saw them earn their first international caps during last week’s international break.
Kante, 25, has rarely had a bad game for Claudio Ranieri’s side this season and against the Saints he posted an impressive three clearances, four interceptions and a whopping eight clean tackles.
Speculation has begun to do the rounds over his future at the King Power Stadium, and with performances of this ilk it really wouldn’t come as a surprise to see Europe’s elite clubs come knocking.
