Trevor Sinclair says Dimitri Payet has Premier League goalkeepers on toast

Payet Skill

The Frenchman scored yet another brilliant free-kick this weekend.

West Ham United drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace this weekend but once again Dimitri Payet stole all the headlines.

The Frenchman has been one of the stars of the Premier League season and has also developed a reputation as something of a free-kick specialist.

He took that special skill to a new level this weekend, with his wonderful free-kick strike against Palace.

His looping effort bamboozled Wayne Hennessey in the Palace goalmouth and it was a shame it did not prove to be the winning goal.

However, his goal certainly had one former West Ham player purring.

Trevor Sinclair, who spent five years with the Hammers, sent these tweets during the game:

There is no doubt that goalkeepers will be not be pleased if their defenders give away any free-kicks in and around the box throughout the remainder of the campaign.

Payet, who also recently scored a great free-kick against Russia on international duty with France, is now carrying a fear factor and West Ham fans will hope that he can drive them toward an impressive Champions League qualification.
