Sunderland failed to win against West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.

Sunderland fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performances of Jermain Defoe and Fabio Borini against West Bromwich Albion at home on Saturday afternoon.

Defoe and Borini both started the Premier League game and played for the entire 90 minutes.

Neither failed to score at the Stadium of Light, as the match finished in a goalless draw.

Borini took five shots, had a pass accuracy of 77%, created one chance, put in three crosses, attempted four dribbles, won 40% of his headers, and made two interceptions and one block.

Defoe took eight shots, had a pass accuracy of 75%, put in one cross, attempted two dribbles, and won 67% of his tackles.

The draw with West Brom on Saturday afternoon means that Sunderland are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with 27 points from 31 matches.
