West Bromwich Albion duo Saido Berahino and James McClean have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the goalless draw with Sunderland away from home on Saturday afternoon.
The Baggies played out a goalless draw with the Black Cats at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League.
The draw means that West Brom are now 11th in the league table with 40 points from 31 matches.
Tony Pulis’s side are pretty much safe from getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Berahino and McClean have taken to Twitter to express their delight at the point the team gained against Sunderland.
Better point for us than them, onto that magical 40 point mark, happy out #boingboingbaggies— James McClean (@JamesMcC14) 2 April 2016
West Brom do not play entertaining football, but under Pulis, the players get the job done.
When one considers that clubs such as Sunderland, Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa are below the Baggies in the league table, then it looks like a successful season for them.
Perhaps West Brom could end the 2015-16 Premier League campaign in the top half of the table.
