Report claims Jurgen Klopp wants teenage midfielder on trial, Birmingham also interested

Liverpool and Birmingham City have been linked with Andreas Juliu.

Liverpool are interested in signing Cypriot wonderkid Andreas Juliu, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants the teenage midfielder to come in for a trial.

The Sun has also claimed that Championship outfit Birmingham City are interested in the Anorthosis youngster, who has been playing well in the Cypriot top flight this season.

Liverpool’s season

Liverpool are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 45 points from 30 matches.

The Merseyside outfit are nine points behind fourth-placed Manchester City and have a game in hand.

It seems that the Reds’ chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League are gone, but they still can qualify for the Champions League via the Europa League route.

Birmingham City’s season

Birmingham City are ninth in the Championship table at the moment with 56 points from 38 matches.

The Blues are eight points behind sixth-placed Derby County and have a game in a hand.

Gary Rowett’s side are still in with a chance of finishing in the top six of the Championship this campaign.
