Report claims Dusan Tadic considering Southampton future after becoming disillusioned with Ronald Koeman

The 27-year-old has still impressed for the Premier League side at times this year.

Dusan Tadic is reportedly considering his Southampton future after becoming less than happy about Ronald Koeman's managerial style, according to the Daily Mail.

The Mail claims that Koeman's manner is starting to frustrate the Serbian and matters reportedly came to a head when the 27-year-old was asked to play on the right flank rather than his preferred position on the left during the club's victory over Liverpool before the international break.

The suggestion that any kind of conflict occurred over Tadic being asked to play in a position which may not be his favoured role, but is a position that he has played in numerous times since moving to St Mary's does seem extreme to say the least.

If the report is correct, then it does not appear to be having any impact on their performances on the pitch. The Saints are currently 7th in the Premier League, and are just seven points adrift of the top four.

And while Tadic's performances may not appear to have been as strong this season as they were last year, he still boasts an impressive record this term.

He has contributed one less assist in the league, but has actually scored one more goal than last season, and potentially has seven more games to add to his tally, and possibly help the side earn a place in Europe once again.
