Rangers fans tear apart Danny Wilson on Twitter after another poor defensive performance

Rangers FC - Ibrox

The Rangers defender struggled again in the 3-3 draw with Raith Rovers.

Rangers could have booked themselves a place back in the Scottish Premiership today with a win at Raith Rovers but incredibly they threw away all three points in a thrilling encounter.

The Glasgow club looked to have been saved by goalkeeper Wes Foderingham when he saved Leicester City loanee Harry Panayiotou’s penalty in the 90th minute.

But the 21-year-old St Kitts and Nevis international got another chance to score in the final stages of the game and this time he levelled things up in a 3-3 result.

Once again Rangers fans were left simply aghast at the woeful defending from the side.

Rob Kiernan had a particularly bad game for Rangers today but it is Danny Wilson who continues to disappoint Rangers fans the most.

When Wilson returned to Ibrox from Hearts it looked like a coup. The former Liverpool player had starred for the Edinburgh club in their Scottish Championship promotion campaign last term. He did look like carrying on that form for much of the early stages of this season but in recent weeks he has been awful for Rangers and the Ibrox faithful appear to have had enough of his sub-par efforts.

Rangers fans certainly made their feelings clear on the matter via Twitter…
