St James Park

Newcastle United went down 3-2 to Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday.

Peter Lovenkrands has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Newcastle United’s to Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

Newcastle went down 3-2 to fellow relegation candidates Norwich away from home at Carrow Road in the Premier League.

The Magpies looked set to earn a valuable point on the road, but Martin Olsson scored the winner for the home team in the third minute of injury time.

Former Newcastle attacker Lovenkrands was following the game, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result at Carrow Road.

The defeat to Norwich on Saturday afternoon means that Newcastle remain second from bottom in the Premier League table.

The Magpies are two points behind 18th-placed Sunderland and six behind Norwich, who are currently 17th in the standings and have played a game more.

Rafael Benitez’s side can still escape the drop to the Championship at the moment, but it has now become tougher than before.
