Ivan Toney might just be the only person associated with Newcastle United smiling after this weekend.
While the team suffered a galling 3-2 defeat to Norwich City, youngster Ivan Toney was preparing for a final at Wembley with loan club Barnsley.
Toney sealed his return to the Tykes at the end of last month after a loan spell earlier in the campaign, and made a big impact in the Johnstone Paint Trophy Final against Oxford United.
He was a surprise substitute midway through the second half with Barnsley top scorer Sam Winnall making way.
With the game poised at 1-1, Toney helped turn the tie in Barnsley' favour, but providing an assist for Manchester United youngster Ashley Fletcher to convert.

Barnsley went on to win the game 3-2, sparking wild celebrations, winning the competition for the first time ever.
It was a special moment in 20-year-old Toney's brief career, and was a sign that he can go on to handle the pressure at Newcastle, whether that be in the Premier League or Championship next season.
Here is a look at how Newcastle and Barnsley fans reacted on Twitter to his performance...
