Lamine Kone mocks James McClean on Twitter, West Brom winger hits back

Sunderland Gates

Sunderland failed to win against West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.

Sunderland defender Lamine Kone has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s failure to win against West Bromwich Albion at home on Saturday afternoon.

The Black Cats played out a goalless draw with West Brom at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League.

Kone has suggested on Twitter that Sunderland deserved to win and has expressed his delight at keeping a clean sheet.

The Ivory Coast international has also appeared to mock West Brom winger James McClean, who has hit back at him on Twitter.

The draw with West Brom means that Sunderland remain third from bottom in the Premier League table and are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Sam Allardyce’s side are four points behind 17th-placed Norwich City, who have played a game more.

Sunderland have become defensively stronger under Allardyce and are creating chances, but they are struggling to score goals.

The Black Cats will return to action next weekend when they take on Leicester City at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League.
