Graeme Souness has made further baffling comments about Leicester City's title chances, according to Sky Sports.

Indeed, the pundit seems to be indicating that a win - and a seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League table - has somehow made things worse for Claudio Ranieri's men...

He was discussing the Midlands outfit after their 1-0 win over Southampton on Sunday afternoon.

Souness told Sky Sports on Sunday afternoon: "Tottenham will believe they can win it. They will believe that Leicester will slip up. They just have to focus on their own job now and see what happens.

"It is Leicester's to lose and that brings added pressure."

But Souness's comments make no sense whatsoever. Does the pundit have an agenda against Leicester?

How can the Foxes be under more pressure after extending their lead at the top to seven points than they were when it was five?

Leicester won and their rivals drew. It's that simple, there is no way that increases the pressure on Leicester or makes life more difficult for them than if they'd dropped points or lost themselves.

Souness's theories are becoming more and more ridiculous by the week. It's getting to the point where, if Leicester do finally win the Premier League, he'll probably still say there's too much pressure on them and that they'll have to somehow forfeit the trophy...
