Confirmed Manchester United v Everton lineups: Deulofeu and Stones both start

Manchester United take on Everton today - here is how the sides line up...

Manchester United continue their push for a top four place with a home game against Everton this afternoon.

The Red Devils beat rivals Manchester City 1-0 last time out before the international break, and will be looking for another win this afternoon.

Manager Louis van Gaal has gone with an attack-minded line-up this afternoon, as the pacey young talents Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford all start the match.

Juan Mata supports lone striker Rashford, whilst Michael Carrick and Morgan Schneiderlin will sit in front of a back four consisting of Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo.

The bench features players like Ander Herrera - who scored against Everton in a 3-0 win for the Red Devils back in October - as well as former Everton ace Marouane Fellaini and wingers Ashley Young and Memphis Depay.

Meanwhile, Everton went into the international break with a 2-0 home defeat to Arsenal, and the pressure is once again mounting on manager Roberto Martinez.

This afternoon, the Toffees boss has decided to start the under-fire John Stones alongside Phil Jagielka in the heart of defence, with Ramiro Funes Mori dropping to the bench.

Former Manchester United youngster Tom Cleverley starts in midfield with Gareth Barry suspended, whilst Gerard Deulofeu starts out wide, with the returning Kevin Mirallas only on the bench.

Mirallas is joined on the bench by January signing Oumar Niasse and former United goalkeeper Tim Howard, with Martinez hoping that stars Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku can cause damage from the start at Old Trafford.
