The 20-year-old American centre-back played the full 90 minutes in Saturday's convincing 4-0 win at Aston Villa.
The 20-year-old defender originally joined the Blues from the New York Red Bulls in January for a reported £3.5 million fee after establishing himself as one of the top talents in MLS, but it was not until this weekend that he earned his first appearance for the club.
Nonetheless, having started at centre-back alongside Branislav Ivanovic, the one-time capped international proceeded to give an excellent account of himself on the afternoon, winning several one-on-one battles and impressing with his calmness on the ball.
He truthfully was not tested a great deal by the division’s lowest scorers, but given it was only his first taste of Premier League football, the composure with which the emerging American handled the situation was more than commendable.
Having not put a foot wrong, the clean sheet was a just reward for his performance and Chelsea fans were quick to sing his praises on Twitter after the game.
It remains to be seen how much more action the 6ft 3in stopper will see over the rest of the season, but judging by the reaction to his first-team bow, Blues supporters certainly seem excited about his future at Stamford Bridge.
Very impressed with Miazga, looks composed and a good passer of the ball. #CFC— Armando (@FlexBambino07) April 2, 2016
I know Aston Villa are the worst premiership team ever. But Miazga looks decent. #CFC— Kamal Amin (@TheRealKamalio) April 2, 2016
