Former Tottenham Hotspur forward Garth Crooks said on Final Score on BBC on Saturday evening (17:39) that Arsenal can still win the Premier League title this season.
Crooks made the comments following Arsenal’s 4-0 victory over Watford at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Saturday afternoon.
The former Tottenham man believes that if the Gunners win their away games against West Ham United and Manchester City, then they can clinch the Premier League title.
"We saw the Arsenal that we know we are capable of,” said Crooks on Final Score on BBC on Saturday evening (17:39). “If the Gunners beat West Ham and Man City away they can win the title.”
Arsenal are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 58 points from 31 matches, eight points behind leaders Leicester City.
The Gunners will take on West Ham away from home at the Boleyn Ground in their next league game and City at the Etihad Stadium next month.
The North London outfit should be able to win matches against Crystal Palace, West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland, Norwich City and Aston Villa.
Of course, Arsenal need both Leicester and Tottenham to drop points in the coming weeks, but Arsene Wenger’s side are still very much in the title race.
