The 21-year-old Spanish full-back has been a revelation for Arsenal since he made his full debut for the club away to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in 2014.
Bellerin is now a mainstay in the Gunner's defence, and scored the third goal of his career in Saturday's win, before speaking to the club's official website.
The defender raved about Arsenal's display, citing aggressive defending as a key component in their victory, telling arsenal.com:
“Defending-wise we were on the front foot and we didn’t even let them have many chances. The defenders were always first to the ball and that was key."
The Barcelona academy graduate went on to praise Arsenal's creativity, as well as their patience in the final third:
"With the ball there was a lot of creativity and patience, which is really important and there was some very good football flowing."
In a story that is familiar to Gunners fans, however, Arsenal seem to have turned the corner when it is that little bit too late. They remain eight points behind Leicester City, who, with a win against Southampton today, will be 11 points clear of the North-Londoners again, with only Arsenal having only 7 Premier League games left.
