West Ham man Moses admits it will be emotional against Crystal Palace

West Ham Upton Park

The two sides meet in a big clash at Upton Park on Saturday.

West Ham United star Victor Moses admits it is always emotional playing Crystal Palace, but his focus is on the Hammers, in comments to the club’s official website.

The two sides clash at Upton Park on Saturday desperate to secure all three points for different reasons.

The Hammers need them to keep the pressure on Manchester City in fourth as they eye a Champions League place this season.

In contras, Pardew’s side need a win to end a dire run of form which has seen them slide dangerously close to the relegation zone.

The contrasting form puts Slaven Bilic’s side as favourites, but Moses insists they must be all full focus to make the points theirs.

“It is always emotional when I play against Crystal Palace,” he told whufc.com.

“[But[ the most important thing now is that I am a West Ham player and we just need to concentrate on making sure we get the three points.”

“Crystal Palace will want the victory on Saturday and I am sure they will be doing everything to stay in the Premier League. They will come to the Boleyn Ground and will want to express themselves.”

If West Ham are to finish in the top four this season, they will need Moses to keep enjoying the fine campaign he has had.

The Nigerian has proved to be a smart signings since joining on loan from Chelsea, although there is no denying he has been outshone by the performances of Dimitri Payet.

The Frenchman has fast become their key player and Hammers fans will be hoping he can continue to impress as they eye success on two fronts.
