Talented winger Andriy Yarmolenko is a signing Everton simply must make this summer

Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked with Andriy Yarmolenko.

According to a recent report in The Sun, Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal target Andriy Yarmolenko has dropped his biggest hint yet that a switch to England could be on the cards.

He’s quoted as saying by The Sun: “I cannot reveal many details but yes, I intend to move to England this year.”

The Ukraine international has build up quite a pedigree at Dynamo Kiev, helping the club reach the Champions League knockout stages against the odds before they fell to Manchester City.

Yarmolenko is a tricky winger who is full of pace and drive, and his abilities would undoubtedly suit the Premier League which is why interest in him comes as little surprise.

Liverpool and Arsenal are said to be favourites to sign him and while the duo arguably have European football to offer, Everton’s recent majority shareholder takeover means they can compete financially.

Iranian billionaire Farhad Moshiri has bought a majority stake in the club, and the first signing they must make to mark the start of his era is bringing in Kiev’s fans favourite Yarmolenko.

The Toffees, despite their new status, will still not be able to attract the world’s greatest names while in their prime yet they do have the opportunity to offer talented players the chance to prove themselves in England.

West ham United have done it with Dimitri Payet, while Stoke City have managed to lure both Bojan and Xherdan Shaqiri to the Premier League without the offer of Champions League football.

Everton now have the opportunity to do the same, and it’s one they must take in order to help bridge the gap between themselves and the club’s vying for a finish in the top four such as the Reds.

Roberto Martinez’s side have potential, yet they lack genuine quality on a consistent basis and players such as Yarmolenko will be able to offer that and move given the opportunity to shine.
