The Arsenal duo currently have two years left on their contracts, and the club is keen on extensions.
The pair are key players in Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal squad, but are now into the final two years of their respective contracts. Wenger, however, is confident that both will sign new deals at the club.
“That (contract negotiations) will be done in the break, in the summer,” he told a press conference.
“I am confident. Yes, they have a two-year contract left and there's been nothing done yet. They look happy, when I talk to them they are happy and they want to extend their contracts so I don't think it is a problem."
For now, Arsenal fans will be hoping that both players can return to something near their best form as the club attempts to keep its increasingly unlikely Premier League title dreams alive.
Arsenal are currently 11 points behind Leicester City with a game in hand, and will need a perfect end to the season, with the hope that the Foxes slip up too, to end as Champions.
This weekend Arsenal host Watford at the Emirates.
