Rangers failed to return to winning ways in the Championship as they went down 3-2 to Middlesbrough at Loftus Road.
Boro took the lead after just 18 minutes when Jordan Rhodes found the target, and Jamie Mackie equalised just past the half-hour mark.
Gaston Ramirez made it 2-1 to the visiting team on 51 minutes and Ben Gibson added the third just six minutes later, before Tjaronn Chery pulled one back for Rangers four minutes before full time.
