Sebastian Polter sends message on Twitter after QPR defeat, fans respond

Queens Park Rangers lost to Middlesbrough in the Championship on Friday evening.

Queens Park Rangers striker Sebastian Polter has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment at the final result against Middlesbrough on Friday evening.

Rangers failed to return to winning ways in the Championship as they went down 3-2 to Middlesbrough at Loftus Road.

Boro took the lead after just 18 minutes when Jordan Rhodes found the target, and Jamie Mackie equalised just past the half-hour mark.

Gaston Ramirez made it 2-1 to the visiting team on 51 minutes and Ben Gibson added the third just six minutes later, before Tjaronn Chery pulled one back for Rangers four minutes before full time.

Polter has taken to Twitter to admit his disappointment at the final result, with QPR fans responding to his message on the social networking site.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Loftus Road on Friday evening, hosts QPR had 54% of the possession, took 10 shots of which four were on target, and earned three corners.

Visitors Middlesbrough had 46% of the possession, took 12 shots of which six were on target, and earned six corners.
