Patrik Berger and Linda Pizzuti Henry react on Twitter to Coutinho's performance v Spurs

Coutinho Liverpool

The Brazilian opened the scoring for Liverpool on Saturday evening, before Tottenham equalised to settle a 1-1 draw at Anfield.

Linda Pizzuti Henry, the wife of Liverpool owner John Henry, praised Philippe Coutinho on Twitter after the Liverpool playmaker netted the opener against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening.

The Brazilian fired home with a cool and composed finish in the second half at Anfield, giving Liverpool a 1-0 lead before Harry Kane's equaliser secured a point for visiting Spurs.

Both teams had chances to win the game but a draw was, in the end, a fair result. Henry, meanwhile, praised Coutinho's calmness:

And former Liverpool midfielder Patrik Berger agreed. Berger knows a thing or two about good finishes and also praised Coutinho's calmness at the time of the playmaker putting the Reds 1-0 up:

How Tottenham fans view this point will no doubt depend on how Leicester City get on against Southampton on Sunday afternoon.

The Saints are a tough crowd for anyone but the Foxes do have a huge advantage in that the game takes place at the King Power Stadium.
