Mick Quinn and Nolberto Solano react on Twitter to Newcastle defeat

The Magpies lost 3-2 to Norwich on Saturday afternoon.

Mick Quinn says he is running out of support and excuses for Newcastle United after their 3-2 defeat to Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

Newcastle showed more fight and a distinct improvement under Rafa Benitez against the Canaries but still left Carrow Road without a point on Saturday.

Their battle against relegation is looking virtually doomed and Quinn was far more positive when reacting to Liverpool's draw than Newcastle's result on Twitter:

Meanwhile, former midfielder Nolberto Solano has urged players and fans to stay together.

And he believes Benitez will succeed at St James' Park as he is a 'top manager.'

What Solano isn't taking into account is the fact any success looks like it will have to come in the Championship, which Benitez doesn't need to stay for...

It doesn't get any easier for the Magpies, of course, with a trip to Southampton their next clash in the Premier League.

Was the 3-2 defeat to Norwich a killer blow for Newcastle?
