Gary Gardner sends message on Twitter ahead of Brentford clash

Aston Villa-owned Nottingham Forest midfielder Gary Gardner is looking forward to the Championship match against Brentford.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Gary Gardner has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his excitement at the prospect of playing this afternoon.

Forest will return to action in a few hours’ time when they take on Brentford at the City Ground in the Championship.

Henri Lansbury could feature for the Reds, with the midfielder having recovered from an ankle injury.

Gardner, who joined Forest on loan from Premier League outfit Aston Villa in the January transfer window, is happy to see that Lansbury has recovered.

Forest will head into the game against Brentford on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Derby County away from home at the iPro Stadium. The Reds are 15th in the Championship table at the moment with 46 points from 38 matches.

Meanwhile, Brentford currently find themselves 18th in the standings with 43 points from 37 matches. The Bees are just six points above the bottom three, and there is a chance that they could get relegated to League One at the end of the season.
