The 32-year-old thinks he scored a better one for West Ham!

Dean Ashton took to Twitter saying Karim Benzema wishes he could emulate him on Saturday evening!

Indeed, Benzema scored a brilliant overhead kick during El Clasico on Saturday as Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1.

But Ashton joked on social media that the Frenchman's effort wasn't quite as good as his during Mark Noble's West Ham United Testimonial.

Ashton scored bicycle kicks during his West Ham career and, more recently, netted a superb goal at Upton Park.

Benzema's goal was a particular highlight as Zinedine Zidane got his tactics spot on at the Nou Camp.

However, the Hammers weren't as lucky on Saturday afternoon as they drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace.

West Ham fans felt they deserved to beat Alan Pardew's men but that controversial refereeing once again cost the east London team.

Next up for the Irons is a Premier League clash against Arsenal, which could go a long way to deciding whether they still have a chance to finish in the top four.
