The Manchester City loanee was in top form against Hearts this weekend.
Celtic pulled off a good comeback in an early afternoon kick-off today, to take all three points against Hearts.
The Bhoys had found themselves 1-0 down after just five minutes against Hearts, after Jamie Walker scored for the visiting side.
But Gary Mackay-Steven levelled things up ten minutes later before Patrick Roberts took over the show.
The Manchester City loanee scored twice as Celtic picked up a crucial 3-1 victory. The result means Celtic are now seven points clear of nearest rivals Aberdeen and look near certain to go on and win the Scottish Premiership once again.
The 19-year-old talent is considered one of England’s hottest prospects and that is why Manchester City snapped him up from Fulham in the summer.
But with first-team football hard to come by at The Etihad he headed to Glasgow for regular playing time and is now showcasing his talents in Scotland.
Roberts worked on picking up his match fitness after initially joining the Scottish club and now looks likely to be a more regular feature in the first-team for the rest of the season.
Celtic fans will be hoping he gets to unleash his talent against Old Firm rivals Rangers later this month.
Here is how Celtic fans reacted to his heroics on Twitter…
What a player Patrick Roberts is, has to play against Rangers.
