Former Leeds striker Whelan has suggested that the West Yorkshire outfit will not miss Doukara.
“It’s just a good job now that we have got (Mirco) Antenucci, who is finding the back of the net, and we have got (Chris) Wood back in contention, so I suggest that he will be starting tomorrow obviously now,” said Whelan on The Noel Whelan Show on BBC Radio Leeds on Friday evening (broadcast from 6pm, April 1) while discussing Doukara's ban.
Doukara has had a mixed season for Leeds, scoring three goals and creating 14 chances in 23 Championship matches.
Antenucci has scored nine goals and created 17 chances in 32 league matches for the Whites so far this campaign.
