The young striker bagged a goal in his side's 4-0 win over Watford.
The youngster has been handed his chance in the Gunners first team in recent weeks, as manager Arsene Wenger has sought to freshen up his attacking line-up.
It has proved an inspired decision; with Iwobi scoring on his first Premier League start against Everton and bagging in the 4-0 win over Watford on Saturday.
It has been an impressive rise from Iwobi, and he says it is currently like a dream come true for him.
"Happy for the team, glad we won, it’s all for the team and I'm glad we've got the three points,” he told BBC Sport.
"When you’re young you dream of this and this is like a dream come true, winning with this team.”
"Winning the title would be amazing but we're taking each game as it comes, game by game, and we'll see where we end up come the end of the season."
Iwobi will now be hoping he can continue to impress between now and the end of the season.
There is certainly no reason to drop him at present, with him not only scoring goals but also forming deadly partnerships with the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck.
That is arguably what will please Wenger the most as Iwobi looks to be the latest youth product to shine in the first team following the success of Hector Bellerin and Francis Coquelin last season.
