Sunderland take on West Brom in a crunch tie this
It is a perilous time at Sunderland at present. The Black Cats remain in serious relegation danger.
They drew 1-1 with rivals Newcastle United in their last game before the international break and are therefore still in the relegation zone – after Norwich City picked up a great win against West Brom.
Sunderland take on West Brom tomorrow, whilst Norwich and Newcastle go head-to-head, so a win could prove massive for the club.
But despite their current predicament there is no doubt that Sam Allardyce has a good spirit running through the club – as was evident in training this week.
The players all seemed to be in high spirits ahead of their massive fixture with the Baggies.
One player in particular who looked to be in a good mood was Yann M’Vila. The French international was enjoying himself at the Academy of Light, especially when messing around with his team-mate Wahbi Khazri.
Most the Sunderland players seemed to be happy, with the likes of Jan Kirchoff, John O’Shea and Patrick van Aanholt also constantly smiling.
The mood in the camp is so good that even Lee Cattermole swapped his usual grimace for a grin.
Sunderland fans will hope that they are smiling again come tomorrow afternoon.
