Ian Holloway has predicted a 1-1 draw when Middlesbrough travel to QPR tonight, according to his regular Sky Sports predictions column.
Boro visit Loftus Road under the floodlights on Friday night, which has become a real fortress for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's men of late.
And Holloway feels Middlesbrough will struggle to register a victory in front of the QPR crowd and Sky Sports cameras.
Holloway told Sky: "I am on the fence here. I don't think it will be that high scoring a game, as Jimmy loves to get his defence sorted out.
"Obviously, Middlesbrough are going for it but QPR away from home is a big scalp and I don't think they'll get it. Jimmy is getting his feet under the table and they'll be too tough a nut to crack"
Things are certainly looking much better for QPR following their last five results. The west London side have won their last three at home and only lost once in five game both home and away.
The wins are still few and far between on the road but the R's were minutes away from winning at Preston were it not for a contentious refereeing decision.
Yet Middlesbrough should, of course, not be discounted. Aitor Karanka knows his side can move just two points off top with a win and that is far greater motivation than what QPR are playing for.
The west London side have slim play-off hopes - but Boro are right there in the thick of their promotion push.
