Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola confirms client could head to Premier League, but rules out Manchester City

The Swedish legend is set for a move this summer.

The future of Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been thrown up in the air in recent weeks – with suggestions he could finally come and play in the Premier League.

His contract at current club Paris Saint-Germain is up in the summer and plenty of Premier League teams would love to have him on board, so could he be on his way?

His agent Mino Raiola has been talking to the press in Italy this week about Zlatan’s future – in particular regards to the Premier League.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport that a move to the Premier League was possible but ruled one team out of the running – Manchester City:

“Outside of Manchester City, who will be managed by Pep Guardiola, all the big clubs have knocked on the door.”

Zlatan and Guardiola of course have a fractious relationship from their time together at Barcelona so it is no surprise Manchester City is not an option.

The comment does not however clear anything up regarding West Ham’s apparent interest.

The Hammers are keen on the player and West Ham chairman David Sullivan was quoted by Sky Sports earlier this month as saying he wanted the Swede at the Olympic Stadium.

But despite the fact West Ham could qualify for the Champions League next season it is not apparent whether Raiola counts the Hammers as a big club.

Manchester United and Chelsea are probably more likely to be the objects of his desire.
