Sunderland star Fabio Borini tweets his excitement ahead of getting back into Premier League action

The Italian forward is hopeful of victory against West Brom.

The international break is finally over and it is not only the football fan that has desperately missed Premier League football.

The players themselves are not exactly enjoying their time off – especially, it seems, one Sunderland player.

Fabio Borini was not called up for international duty with Italy. The Sunderland star has one cap for Italy but has not featured in an Italian squad since 2012.

So he has been minding his own business and biding his time ahead of a return to action this weekend.

He sent out this tweet on his official account earlier today however to point out just how excited he is for Sunderland’s upcoming game.

He tweeted:

Sunderland are set to take on West Brom on Saturday in an important fixture – as they will feel it is a game they can actually win in their fight for Premier League survival.

Sunderland are currently in the Premier League relegation zone on 26 points, but have a game in hand on Norwich City above them on 28.

So if the Black Cats can win this game then they will surely be back in with a shout of survival.
