Robinson linked up with Radebe at Leeds United, while he played alongside King at Tottenham Hotspur.
And the England international said that he felt very secure when the pair were lining up in the defence ahead of him.
““Lucas Radebe at Leeds, and Ledley King at Tottenham,” he said, when asked which defenders have made him feel the safest in goal. “There’s a few that haven’t made me feel safe at all, though!”
King and Radebe are both regarded as legends at their respective former clubs.
King made 321 appearances for Spurs over a 14 year professional career at White Hart Lane, while Radebe made 256 appearances for Leeds in an 11 year stint in Elland Road.
Robinson’s suggestion that King and Radebe are the two best defenders he has played with is a big compliment to the pair.
Robinson has played for Leeds, Tottenham, Blackburn Rovers and Burnley over his career to date, while he has also represented England at international level.
