West Ham United are currently competing for a spot in the Champions League.

Paolo Di Canio has told the Daily Mirror that Slaven Bilic has completely changed the philosophy at West Ham United.

Bilic took over at the Hammers last summer, and he has enjoyed a wonderful first season at Upton Park.

West Ham have enjoyed their best campaign in recent memory this term, and Di Canio has hailed the improvements that the Croatian manager has made at the London side.

“You see that the club’s mentality, the methodology and the philosophy has changed completely,” Di Canio said.

“There is a brain and mentality and work ethic, which is all thanks to Bilic. This club can now look forward to the future.”

West Ham are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table, and they are in wonderful form.

The Hammers have lost just two times in their last 22 matches, and they have started to put pressure on the sides in the top four.

West Ham are hot on the heels of both Manchester City and Arsenal, as they chase a spot in Europe’s elite competition for next season.

West Ham have also made it through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, where they are up against Manchester United.

West Ham’s next match comes against Crystal Palace at Upton Park on Saturday.
