Ukrainian manager says Andriy Yarmolenko would star in England

Reported Arsenal and Everton target Andriy Yarmolenko would dazzle in the Premier League, according to Ukraine's manager.

Quoted by The Mirror, Ukraine manager Mykhaylo Fomenko has claimed that reported Arsenal and Everton target Andriy Yarmolenko would succeed in the Premier League - if such a move were to materialise.

The Dynamo Kiev winger, 26, has long been linked with a switch to England's top flight, with the Toffees reportedly being in the driving seat last summer as a £15 million move beckoned (Sky Sports), though it never happened.

In January, the Gunners were then linked as Ukranian publication Sport claimed that a £23 million would happen this summer, and it remains to be seen if that is the case.

Nevertheless, Fomenko, who has worked with the star at international level since 2012, is certain that he has what it takes to produce his very best form in England, if a Premier League club signs him.

“If he is wanted by the top English clubs then, yes, he can show his best in the Premier League and he must do this," he is quoted as saying by The Mirror. "He is the leader of our team and leader of our squad.”

Toffees fans know first hand just how devastating Yarmolenko is, with the winger almost single-handedly knocking them out of the Europa League with a stunning display in last season's 5-2 win in Kiev.

But with Everton toiling around mid table in the Premier League, it remains to be seen how attractive of a proposition life at Goodison Park is at the moment.
