Celtic will be looking to improve their team for the new season.
Celtic may be on the cusp of another Scottish title but the club’s fans will be looking for some changes to the squad after a disappointing campaign in Europe this season.
Whilst they will have some money to spend free transfers are likely to come into play.
So who might they bring in on a Bosman?
Here are three potential arrivals for the summer…
Hal Robson-Kanu – Reading
The Welsh international could effectively become a straight replacement for James Forrest.
The Reading forward can play anywhere across the front-line and would be perfect for the Scottish Premiership.
Marc Janko – FC Basel
Celtic need to unload the goalscoring burden on Leigh Griffiths.
Who better for the job than the Austrian veteran?
After smashing in goals in Australia for Sydney he returned to Europe in the summer with FC Basel of Switzerland.
He may be 33-years-old in the summer but he has scored 16 goals in 16 league starts for the Swiss side this term.
He has previously expressed a wish to play in England but Celtic can offer him European football and free reign to score at will.
Lucian Filip – Steaua Bucharest
A Romanian under-21 international Filip would make a like-for-like replacement for out of contract Charlie Mulgrew.
He can play in holding midfield, left-back and centre-half – but he is a younger and more agile version of the Scot.
