The midfielder was impressive for the Gunners during March.
The Egyptian enjoyed his best month to date since joining the club in January, with a goal against Barcelona in the Champions League the icing on the cake.
His displays were not missed by the Arsenal faithful either, who voted him their player of the month by some distance.
He won 31.6% of the votes, seeing him win the award ahead of Danny Welbeck, who finished second and Mesut Ozil in third.
And reacting to the award on Twitter, Elneny was keen to praise his teammates as well as the club’s fans.
Thanks Allah.Good start is the way to success. Thanks to all my teammates, my coach and best fans in the world pic.twitter.com/tK7cZDMVei— Mohamed ELNeny (@ElNennyM) March 30, 2016
Elneny will now be hoping he can help Arsenal to mount a late challenge for the title in their remaining games this season.
They are currently 11 points behind leaders Leicester City with a game in hand after a disappointing spell in 2016 has seen them fall out of the title race.
Mathematically though, the Gunners are still within a chance and will be hoping to mount a late push, starting with a win over Watford this weekend.
