Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Cristian Cueva, report Peruvian newspaper Libero.
It is claimed Tottenham have sent scouts to watch the 24-year-old in action, and have even enquired over his price.
Cueva plays for Peruvian side Toluca, who would be willing to sell for 20 million Euros, which is £15.7 million.
A fee of that magnitude would be a record for any Peruvian club to receive.
Cueva has six international caps for Peru, recently featuring in their World Cup qualifying matches, and Spurs could be optimistic he would qualify for a work permit.
He has five goals and seven assists in 39 games in all competitions this season, which includes one assist in the Copa Libertadores.
Cueva is nicknamed 'Aladdin', and is a left winger, who previously had a spell on loan in Spain with Rayo Vallecano.
