To be played on Saturday 2nd April 2016 at 16:30. Venue: Anfield, Liverpool
Odds: Liverpool 6/4, Draw 9/4, Tottenham 15/8
Liverpool welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Anfield on Saturday for a huge Premier League encounter.
The international break came at the worst possible time for a Spurs side seeking to close the five-point gap between themselves and league leaders Leicester City, but now Mauricio Pochettino’s side have the chance to make a late surge for the title.
With Leicester not playing until the following day, Tottenham can put some pressure on Claudio Ranieri’s men and it will be interesting to see how the players respond after being away with their countries for the last two weeks.
In early team news, Liverpool are without Joe Gomez, Kevin Stewart, Lucas Leiva, Jordan Rossiter and Danny Ings.
As for Tottenham, they cannot yet call on Jan Vertonghen or Clinton N’Jie while Nabil Bentaleb has recently been ruled out for around six weeks.
Defenders Ben Davies and Toby Alderweireld have minor knocks but both are expected to be ready if called upon.
With that in mind, here is how we expect the two teams to line up on Saturday evening:
- Simon Mignolet
- Nathaniel Clyne
- Jon Flanagan
- Dejan Lovren
- Mamadou Sakho
- Emre Can
- Philippe Coutinho
- Jordan Henderson
- Adam Lallana
- Roberto Firmino
- Daniel Sturridge
- Hugo Lloris
- Toby Alderweireld
- Danny Rose
- Kyle Walker
- Kevin Wimmer
- Dele Alli
- Mousa Dembélé
- Eric Dier
- Christian Eriksen
- Erik Lamela
- Harry Kane
