Newcastle United midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum reacts on Twitter to Holland's win over England

Newcastle United's Georginio Wijnaldum started for Holland against England at Wembley yesterday.

Georginio Wijnaldum has assured Newcastle United supporters that his full focus is back on club matters.

Wijnaldum helped Holland to a 2-1 friendly victory over England at Wembley last night.

The attacking midfielder enjoyed representing his country, but he insists that he is now determined to help Newcastle make it away from the drop zone over the coming weeks.

Wijnaldum started in Holland’s midfield last night, as they came from behind to beat England.

The Three Lions had taken the lead through Jamie Vardy, but goals from Vincent Janssen and Luciano Narsingh turned the match around.

Wijnaldum will be hoping to celebrate plenty more victories between now and the end of the season, after returning to Newcastle.

The Magpies are currently in 19th place in the Premier League table, and they are running out of time to get out of trouble.

Newcastle’s next match comes against Norwich City on Saturday, and defeat at Carrow Road would have disastrous consequences for Rafael Benitez’s side.
