Nottingham Forest supporters have slated Tyler Walker’s first performance for Burton Albion yesterday.
Walker moved from Forest to Burton last week, and he came off the substitutes’ bench at half-time of the Brewers’ match against Millwall yesterday.
Burton were 2-0 down heading into the break at The New Den, and manager Nigel Clough turned to Walker to get them back into the game.
However, the young striker was unable to get particularly involved in the match and Forest fans were distinctly unimpressed with the 19-year-old’s performance.
The Reds supporters claimed that Walker looked disinterested, and his work rate came under heavy scrutiny on social media site Twitter.
Tyler Walker has looked as threatening tonight as he has every time he has played for #nffc— Andrew Cairns (@AndrewNewts) March 28, 2016

Reading a lot of negative comments about Tyler Walker's performance tonight.— Tom Clarke (@TomClarke_3) March 28, 2016
Walker was regarded as one of Forest’s brightest prospects, but he has struggled to make an impact at senior level so far.
The rapid forward has scored just one goal in 21 Championship appearances to date.
Walker’s switch to Burton is the first loan move of his professional career, and he will be looking to help Clough’s side earn promotion from League One.
