John Hartson gives his opinion on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's potential move to West Ham

West Ham United have been linked with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

John Hartson has suggested that West Ham United should attempt to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer transfer window.

Ibrahimovic’s contract at his current club, Paris Saint Germain, is due to expire at the end of the season and the experienced forward has already confirmed that he will not be staying with the Ligue 1 club.

The 34-year-old has previously spoken of his interest in joining the Premier League, and West Ham are one of the clubs linked with the high profile striker.

Indeed, the Hammers co-owner David Sullivan has confirmed that West Ham would be interested in signing Ibrahimovic should the opportunity arise, during an interview with TalkSPORT.

The potential transfer has raised a lot of eyebrows, and Hartson believes Ibrahimovic would be a great addition for the Hammers.

Ibrahimovic has never played in England before, but he has scored prolifically across Europe.

The Swedish international has represented the likes of Barcelona, AC Milan, Ajax and Inter Milan during a glistening career at the top level.

West Ham could face a fight to sign Ibrahimovic if they do make a move for him, as both Chelsea and Arsenal have also been linked in the Daily Mail.
