Injured Nottingham Forest defender Dani Pinillos is remaining upbeat, confirming he is returning to England to continue his rehabilitation.
The left-back suffered an ACL injury in December which ruled him out for the rest of the season, and had been recuperating in Spain.
Pinillos was a free signing last summer after being released by relegated Cordoba, and quickly became a fans favourite at the City Ground thanks to his committed displays.
The injury was a tough break for both the 23-year-old and the club, and he has since seen the manager who signed him, Dougie Freedman, fired earlier this month after the team suffered a run of poor results.
The timescale for his return is as yet unconfirmed, but it is not out of the question that he recovers in time to start the season, although a September or October comeback may be the safer bet.
The Spaniard has one year remaining on his contract at Forest, and will be keen to get back to his best next season and earn an extension.
