Taking a closer look at the young Celtic pair yet to feature for the first-team.
Celtic have some very talented youngsters coming through the ranks right now and manager Ronny Deila has proved he is not afraid to give them a chance if they are deemed good enough.
For now the Bhoys are fighting hard with Aberdeen at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, with four points separating them at this stage of the campaign.
That said, Celtic have a game in hand and if they maintain their advantage they will secure another league title with time to spare.
That could see some of Celtic’s next generation earn their first-team debuts before the end of May and here we take a look at two players who must be near the head of the queue.
Calvin Miller is an 18-year-old attacker who is equally comfortable up front or on either wing.
The teenager has been making waves for Celtic’s under-20 side this season and he recently put in a scintillating performance against Dundee United, causing panic in their defence time and again with his skill on the ball.
Deila will know all about Miller, and a few minutes on the field with the season winding down is not beyond the realms of possibility.
Another 18-year-old, Regan Hendry, will also have aspirations of breaking into Celtic’s first-team before the season is over.
Predominantly an attacking midfielder, Hendry can also play effectively on the right wing, in the centre of the park or as a holding player, and that versatility marks him out as one to watch.
Like Miller, Hendry has been impressing for the under-20s and a step up may not be too far away.
