Christian Eriksen has scored eight goals for Tottenham Hotspur so far this campaign.
Eriksen has made 59 appearances for Denmark already, but his form on the international stage has not been as impressive as his displays for Spurs.
Laudrup believes that Danish supporters have forgotten Eriksen’s age, though, and he has urged supporters to remain patient with the attacking midfielder.
"The one thing you have to remember about Christian Erikson is that he is only 24," Laudrup said, ahead of Denmark’s friendly against Scotland later this evening.
"He is still a very young player, but he's played 59 times for Denmark already, which is incredible.
"He is certainly showing week in, week out in England with Tottenham how good a player he can be.”
Eriksen has played 40 times for Spurs in all competitions this campaign, and he has scored eight times throughout the season to date.
The creative midfielder’s excellent form has been a major reason behind Pochettino’s success this season, which has lifted them into title contention.
Spurs are currently in second place in the Premier League table, and they are just five points behind top of the table, Leicester City.
The Lilywhites’ next match comes against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
